I'm going to do a little experiment. Christmas morning after I get my drysuit I'm gonna put in on (with a 300g polartec and some underarmor) and I'm gonna push aside the ice chunks and jump in the lake in front of my house. Should be a good time huh? haha Anyway having not dove with a drysuit in anything near this cold of water it should be interesting to see how long I stay functioning before I start to freeze my butt off. This christmas is gonna be awsome!

you want to be very used to your dry suit realizing the more cloths you put on the more weight you ll need.do this dive with friends that have been there before,,you will first dive will be an adjustment dive,,you wont get it right the first dive,,every different climent and enviorment will mean changes in gear,,you may have to adjust amount of cloths ,,your weight may need to be balanced out or changed,,extra hot water for hood and mits,,,,make sure your suit is dry down to the toes ,a must,do use a small rope snaped on you with net bobber onto the rope about 5 feet from you to keep the ripe off you.plan this dive well ,,,dive your plan..go to the surface..make the changes you need,,being comforable means alot now,,if your hands got cold , take your mitts and hood off and put them in the cooler of hot water then put them back on , talk about your dive,go again, good surface surport is also a must ,,you dont have to go deep pick a stop with about 20 - 30 feet to experience this dive. ok your next dive you will be more relaxed ,enjoy the dive if you do start feeling cold use your energy to warm up start finning ,not to close to the bottom keep moving ,you will warm up,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,i hope these tips are helpful for you,,,,,Griffin
