Hey, I do a fair bit of ice diving around minneapolis in the winter (sometimes up north as well). Not a lot of buddies to go with, people move away or get certified for ice in the spring at the end of the season and never dive ice again. Hit me up if interested.

I'm 12 hours away in Cincinnati and just got ice certified, would like to do it again, probably won't get very close to you, but hopefully one day...

I want to do this someday. Which regulators do you recommend and not recommend, that you have experience with?

I used Atomic m1 environmentally sealed with tribolube 71 and they did fine. Asked if I should bring my Sherwood blizzards instead but instructor said ok to bring Atomic m1 as long as they're environmentally sealed.

My instructors were using Poseidon and sounds like they're great for cold water diving. I asked and they let me try a spare set of Poseidons too. I like using their Poseidons, but may not buy any, atl least right now, because I already have a bunch of regulators.

My mares axis when we got it had a second stage seat that liked to turn lose and free flow 20 years ago. But after the updated seat it has be a bullet proof backup, and pony regulator, still use it.
It and my diverite have been under ice no problems. Dry air, and not sipping on reg, are some tips
