Where is the dive site located?

His "front yard" is Net Lake just north of Temagami North and he is on the water's edge. While vertical depth is quite modest (<15'), heading out under the ice for a swim is quite fun, and limited to how much rope you take off the tripod reel (100' IIRC).

I wish I could have the time off.

I bet those 2 spots will be going fast!

wow I would never make a diver dive wet unless they wanted to ...that being said ive dove wet for years till I wised up and did it dry ...lol

@abnfrog & R.
'Twas a great weekend with great people and while the distance to travel for me to this class has been classified as "insane" by my wife and some others - it as well as staying an extra day for an excellent VIP class, was WELL WORTH IT!

@rhwestfall & J.
Thanks for all your help, company and willingness to chat with a considerably less experienced diver.

And thanks to all other participants. Good to have met you all! I enjoyed the time "up there".

@Schwob ...it was my honor to be your instructor , just to say it was worth the 13 hr drive says it all , im glad you stayed the extra day to get your vip in ....your welcome back anytime ........steve

The group was a great bunch of folks, and well worth the drive to spend some time with! I'd share a dive again with any of you, any time!

So, who wants to try a double hose the next time? :confined:

@abnfrog : how is the knee? Also, please keep an eye out for a black fleece beanie with white reflective markings on it. Seems to have gone missing. Think the cats got it!

P.S. - saw a moose on the way down, just off the road on 11 north of HWY 60!!

That's an awful lot better than the one I saw on the beverage can some drank out of...

Trying double hose some time, just to see... ... ... --- w/o wanting to impose or bother or such a simple truthful answer would be: Yes please!
