Has anyone stated at the iberostar my wife and i are thinking of going the week of 3/11-3/18. My wife does not dive will this be a good all inclusive for us? Is there a beach for her, i understand there is really no beach in cozumel but is there a place she can sun and read?

Thanks Christi, when we make it down that week i hope i can dive with you, i heard that hotel i anal about other dive ops picking up divers.

Yes, there is a beach, but what gave you the "no beach in Cozumel" idea? That is just not true. Both of the Occidental properties, the Allegro and the Grand have nice beaches. Of the two, the Allegro's is a bit nicer. There are several nice beach clubs on the west side and the east side of the island has lots of deserted soft sand beach to explore.

Personally, I wouldn't stay at the Iberostar because of the way they hassle off-site dive OP's. This shows me that they don't care much about their guest's satisfaction.
