Well, the thing about motorcycle accidents is there is no such thing as a minor accident. Scubadontgok, I appreciate your attempt at trying to make a point, but I was really just offering to send some pics to H2 Andy.
No theres not and there is very few people who drive well enough to spot a biker in a crowded street I did not see him is all to often the wail at a accident, but by the same token a nanny attitudes will always tick me off
The idea that not taking training or scaring off people who have my best interests at heart by showing pics of accidents is silly, want to see some pics of a guy who has a busted lung and also has the chokes should cure you of diving if you would like that method of thinking
Do what you want is a nice way to live I used to live in the UK a bunch of folks who knew what was best for me!
I now live in the USA a much healthier attitudes to being a free idea place

I've had 3 motorcycle accidents and all have been minor. ie. I didnt break any bones or need any medical attention. In each case the bike had to be trailered though..

So you also think that showing teenagers pictures of drunk driving accidents to scare them from drinking/driving is a bad idea?
RELAPSE RELAPSE :11:

Yes, simply put, life is the number cause of death. A good life does not come without risk. Can only train and prepare to reduce the risk.

Are those pink glasses?

yes, i don't go nowhere without my lucky pink shades

(actually, they're white... the sunset is lighting them funny)

Jepuskar: thanks for the offer, but i'm not sure the pics would
accomplish anything. true, motorcycles leave you far more
exposed than a car to injury, but i obviously feel that the risk is maneagable ;)

primalchaos: sweet bike!

H2Andy,

Enjoy your bike! Hope its alot of fun!

I scuba dive and that is risky, but I'll look at a pic of a dive accident anyday, but thats just me. The same guy who has seen every beheading in Iraq to date.

H2Andy,

Nice bike! My wife is looking for the cruiser style now. She used to have a EX500 until we had our daughter and has been sans bike since.

Yes there are minor accidents....when she was taking the MSF class she grabbed front brake while in a walking speed turn.....yes there are major accidents....me, left hand curve, 40 mph, pickup turning left, head on, bike went under the truck I went over and walked away.

If you ever go to Daytona for Bikeweek or Biketoberfest let me know, I go to both every year. Ride safe!!

Cough, Cough, Harley, Cough, Cough
Yeah, that's what I do after riding behind Harleys too! :D
I'll ride anything on two wheels as long as I don't have to work on it after every long run.
