I have an Otterbox one that I use for swimming laps - very nice and keeps the Ipod dry. Waterproof/water resistant earbuds are harder to come by than a good case.

The earbuds are a key. The MP3 from Iriver has them but now to route them thru the case and seal them is a nother trick also.

The Otterbox has several special fittings for the cord to your earbuds - I used the appropriate one and supplemented it with some Aqua Seal - no leaks so far.

I went kayaking a while back on the Boston Harbor Islands (going through Hull gut on a sunday afternoon gets you just about as wet as you'll get)..

I took a handful of plastic bags with me. One for my cell phone, and one for my ipod (I actually double wrapped it).

I also have duct tape wrapped around my ipod to cover up the ugly dings and scratches.

With the duct tape and the plastic bags, I really had no problem and no worries.
