Look, I'm an atom!
I started out on a cruise, wanted to swim with the turtles, the excursion was booked!:11: The man at the port suggested I go with some guy and try SCUBA! Adventurous as I am..I decided to go. I got into his personal trucs, drove around the island, and finally made it to the dive shop in Barbados! This was in October. Did the intro to diving! I was hooked! Next stop Aruba. Had another great dive! As soon as I got back from the cruise, I decided to take my OW. Had a great time but was having a hard time finding dive buddies
. Joined SB, got a lot of great advise from members
. I inquired about Invasion, signed up! Then was told I should take AOW so I would be able to be on the cool kids boats
. Took the advise. The LDS convinced me to take Nitrox at the same time! So, Friday 3/30 I did 2 Nitrox dives, I still had air left so I got in an extra dive ! Saturday, 3/31 did my deep and nav dives....with air left again and got in another dive ! No air hog here!:mooner: Here I am now OW, AOW and Nitrox certified!!!! Search and rescue next!

BTW..I was coaxed into starting this thread..........
