Baitedstorm, I have dealt with children several times in the scuba diving sport and I have found it is best to get as many parents involved as possible. You are going to need them to handle small things while you are focused on instruction. Out of 23 kids you will get some prents to join in.

Hey there, Storm,

Wish I was closer to ya I'd love to do something like that - that sounds like a real hoot and an awesome thing you are doing. I never thought the girl I sat behind in IDC was such the community minded person!

Good luck,

Tim

*I understand that we all need to make a living, I just think there's got to be away out there to make this happen..

Very cool, Vickie. As a former member of W.P.D. Explorer Post 831, I know exactly how beneficial this program is for people under 21 that want to be cops. Or Sheriff deputies. It worked for me but I no longer wear the "Blue Suit". That was, oh, 18 yrs ago. Wow, I don't FEEL old. If I was down there I would gladly donate my time and use of my boat for these folks. I KNOW what kind of volunteering hours they put in.

Tim, these kids would floor you with their drive and love of life. They are such amazing people, it’s a privilege for me to be able to work with such great people.

I wish today’s average teenagers were even just half as amazing as these kids. I know Pete (aka NetDoc) does a lot of this work to. I wish a had hundreds of dollars to donate to their Post but I don’t, so for me, this is my way of giving back to them.

I know you would, you have a big heart. I wish everyone knew the effort these kids put in. It’s truly refreshing.
