My dive compressor has a broken pressure reducing valve, repairing seems to be impossible. The ebay valve seems to be such a PRV. Does anyone have experience with this kind of valve? Unfortunately the description is lousy, I am not sure if it produces a constant maximum output pressure.

What do you think about my idea?

Any other ideas?

Does ebay always make you sign in to view a hot-link? Seems weird.

If this is the Coltri you were discussing elsewhere where the valve on your compressor is no longer available from them, why not get whatever Coltri is now using?

Also, are you sure that is a Pressure Reducing Valve, and not a Pressure Sustaining/Maintaining Valve?

Hey mate!

I am done with Coltri. They do not support a valve after 15 years, that's lousy.

The valve I need should do the following:
200 bar in, 200 bar out
250 bar in, 250 bar out
260 bar in, 250 bar out
300 bar in, 250 bar out
330 bar in, 250 bar out

Hey mate!
Where is your valve leaking
Adjust your valve down to 240b or something and see what happens
Pull your valve apart and repair it what's to lose except your eyesight
Depressurize, all things first
rhwestfall gave you the valve in your other thread

The valve seat is leaking. I can not buy this valve seat only. Coltri does not support this type of valve anymore. Diveavenue seems to be the producer of this valve, they do not answer my emails. I found a German dealer which might have a service kit for this valve. We are not 100% sure if it is the right kit, but it seems so. Price is 250 Euro, which is very, very expensive.

I forget about this valve, I will buy a new one. But which one?
