Not sure if you still care, but I would say you ought to go to Bali. The diving, while not as good as Manado, is still excellent, the island and hotels are romantic, and the shopping and nightlife unrivaled in Asia. Plus, its cheap.

If you go to Manado, I like Froggies, but not much to do there but dive, dive, dive. Which is fine with me, but might not be great on a honeymoon..
