Hello guys, I'm looking for used Inspiration or Meg in good conditions. Anyone have any idea about the price for used machines? I'm asking for help because I haven't decided if I go for one new unit or buy one used and add a Hamerhead. If anyone could help me, I'll appreciate.

Last I heard Ron Benson @ going under diving had two used inspirations around $5000 ea.I think they were About 3 years old and used by instructors at the shop

Why don't you take a look at the KISS? You can get one new for $4600 and you don't have electronics to mess around with, we can also provide you with a MEG with HH electronics which would be a very nice option if you want to take that route

PW Fletcher has one for sale on e-bay. At that price, you could afford the Hammerhead. That's a really good set-up!

A couple of megs went for sale up on TDS through Tom Mount. I believe they were $7500 and $8000 respectively. [I'm pretty sure they went really quick]

Michael, the powers to be think you should not look in the RB forum for RBs that are for sale. Pat's inspiration is on e-bay, the link in the For Sale section.
Unless the auction pushes the price it looks like a good deal.
As BJD pointed out, the Hammerhead is quite an improvement.

Did you ever buy a unit?? I am also looking for either a Meg or Inspiration.

Tech Blues is right, if you are going to buy a used Insp or Meg, look at the KISS as well. I just completed mine and am waiting for the training in a few weeks. Very impressive unit, easy to build and maintain.

If you really, really want electronics, they are available from a couple of sources for around 1800. USD.

Then you have a new RB, you built it, so you know how it works and are, IMHO, better equipped to dive it, after training of course.
