I just wanted to thank everyone for their posts. It has given me quite a chuckle and has made me realized the wrong in my ways.
When I first started posting at scubaboard I was a non-diver getting ready to do my discover scuba class...I was nervous and wanted to find out what this SCUBA was all about. My posts were meant to gather information to ease my stress and help me learn. Somewhere along the way, I became comfortable with my learning and started straying away from the real purpose of this board. Suddenly I found myself not contributing but merely signing in to see if I can get people going....hence the name "TROLL".
Recently I had a chance to reflect on my behavior on this board. I realize I have offended some, sometimes on purpose, most of the time not. There is nothing wrong with speaking your mind, but sometimes you must be politically correct. This is where I have failed. I have failed myself and I have caused many others on this board to judge my character in a negative way without truly knowing me. I am a decent person who can get carried away with this medium we use to communicate. It is far too easy to be disruptive on here. I apologize for my past behavior once again.
I am going to focus on helping the new members to this forum get started in SCUBA just like I was assisted a couple months back. I think I can contribute the most in that area of this board. Maybe as my education and diving knowledge increases I will participate in other forums as I deem fit.

I appreciate your sincere post Jep and I am sure that the information you will provide and have provided is and will continue to be an asset to the board. We are all here because we love this sport and want to talk about it and discuss it.
Of course having a little fun (not at the expense of others, well maybe at O ring's expense) is OK too. Have fun in the fun sections and share information in the information sections.
That is what it is all about.
