Just to follow up.
I decided to also upgrade my strobes. (TBH, as much for convenience as anything else.) Ikelite recently announced their new RC165 Fiber Optic TTL strobes. This will give me TTL capability and much more light (when needed) with the ability to have fast recharge/cycle and to shoot at a higher frame rate.
Right now, they are sitting in a bonded warehouse in Windsor ON waiting for Canada Customs to clear them.
