I guess I got spoiled

I guess I got spoiled with this board. While I never really had any complaints, I went back to an older forum I belong to abour reef aquariums, I started lurking again and noticed how many people would get flamed and how mods were constantly locking threads and when a newbie would ask a question, a dozen posters would jump down their throats screaming to do a search and how dare they post a new thread when it had already been discussed. In short, I wanted to thank ScubaBoard and the ScubaBoard community for being so friendly and welcoming. Coming here really does feel like we are all friends and family, and I know that some of us have our differences, but all in all, we are mature and treat everybody well. Thank you everybody.

Justin 699 you are correct and I too am impressed with this excellent message board. It is educational, informative, and even inspirational at times. It helps to get the word from "on the street" not from some money grubbing company. Big time Kudos to the Scuba.com people who keep this board running. Keep the news comming; its unbais and real.

I couldn't agree more. All of us here are pretty spolied when it comes to how people are treated. Sure, there are times when it doesn't always go smooth... but jeesh, with as many members as we have, I don't know how it possibly could!

A big thanks to all of you that make things run smoothly around here.... without you, it wouldn't be possible!!

Actually i think i can speak again for the mods when i say that mostly its good people getting on here, talking about their passion for diving, forming a community that means that we dont have quite as much to clean up and deal with - you guys who make up this community rock and are the main reason this board is clean and friendly
