Just a little complaining today.

The rain is finally gone and I want to be outside today. It is a sunny and non-humid 82 degrees today. Perfect weather to be outside. Unfortunately, I'm stuck in my office talking to clients and in between that listening to Green Day's American Idiot. How appropriate for my job! ha ha

What would u guys rather be doing today?

Mel

That sucks. You kind of sound like you're coming down with something...cough,cough. Perhaps you should go home. You wouldn't want to make the clients ill.

;)

That's an idea. My throat is a little scratchy. Then I could swing by and pick up dive gear and go to the quarry. Problem is where can I get a diving buddy at the last minute?

stuck in an office myself.... me, I'd rather be diving :)

So, how's the weather in Rhode Island? I just moved back to NC from Newport, RI.

I'd go with you, but it would take hours for me to get to NC. Perhaps this illness is dive related. Some of your dive friends could possibly have the same symptoms.

I had the opportunity to dive this morning, perhaps the only divable day we'll have between hurricanes. I don't know what got into me, but some freak wave of responsibility coursed though me and I opted to stay at the shop and take care of some boring business. What's up with that?

Okay Kev, why don't you just rub it in some more. Tell us what it's like living on the sunny coast (for now) of Florida and getting to dive every day. What a hard life you must live. How about trading? You can sit in an office all day and draft legal documents and talk on the phone, and I'll be the dive master. Deal? :)

The weather is fine (today) and the water is fairly warm. Why'd you leave Newport? I'd love to live down there, I'm in Johnston.

Yeah, I loved Newport - it's a beautiful place. I hated the winter though - too cold for me. I did enjoy living close enough to NY that I got to take day trips into the city.

Here is a short synopsis on why I left: My now ex-husband cheated on me with some hoochie mama he met at the gym. Needless to say we got a divorce. He is in the USCG and we were stationed there for 3 years. All's good we're somewhat friends now, believe it or not.
