Well, I didn't know where to post it... so I choose here.
I only watned to say that this weekend I did my nitrox course and pass it!!!!
It was really fun although at the very beggining I was horrified - physics were never my favourite subject at school - to be honest I hated it. But somehow I managed to learn it (thanks to my instructor).
Now I have to wait a little bit to have my first nitrox dive - it's too cold now and anyway we still have ice on our lakes!!!!!

Quick!!! Get that Ice diving course in before the ice melts!

Nice work, mania. TO test you, what Maximum P02 are you allowed to breathe, and what is the Maximum Operating Depth of 36% Nitrox? Metres OK.

Hope I'm not wrong but ...
The maximum PO2 is 1.4
MOD for EAN36 is 28/29 meters

Is it OK?

It's ITDA combined with SSI. My instructor is right now in the process of switching from SSI to ITDA. And to be honest ITDA basic nitrox is far more advanced than SSI in the sense that there is much more information provided by ITDA. As SSI OW I was suprised when I watched the SSI video about nitrox - it's some kind of a joke. Not mentioning the fact that an actor who plays a diver with convultions is pretending convultions and at the same time very nicely using his fins during the ascend...:) And one more thing - my instructor told me that when convultions happen I have to wait till the end of them - which usuallu takes about 2 minutes and then start ascending with the unconsious diver. While SSI shows to start ascending immediately when convulsions appear. Which one is true?
