I flooded mine on a recent trip to Australia. I sent it in to Olympus to see if it can be resurrected from the dead, but haven't heard anything back from them yet. So I've been looking on Ebay and Amazon and people want $600 for a used one!! Now that is around what I spent 2 years ago for the camera and the housing.
I'm thinking if the camera can't be saved I'll just try and sell the housing and look for a new camera. I liked the 7070 but not enough to pay double the price for it.
My friend in Oz offered to sell me his new unused one for a better price. Maybe I shoulda woulda coulda. but after some unexpected financial expenditures, I just couldn't make the commitment at the time.

Those prices are crazy. You can by a new DSLR with kit lens for not much more than $400.

The C-7070 was built better than the SP-350, but I'd just assume get an SP-350. It's newer so it probably has better image processing.

I agree BUT I have to house the new camera when I buy it. If Olympus can fix my old camera it will cost $200 to repair. I won't pay much more than that for a used one. I'd rather spring for the new camera and housing, but I'll have to wait until after I get my bonus in Feb. Then, of course, I can always try to sell the old housing on ebay. Maybe I can get double what I paid for it like the camera.:rofl3:
BTW, the winning bid was $358, much more than I was willing to pay.

FWIW I have been looking for a backup 7070 on E-Bay for over a year now and they have been going for around $500, $385 is a good price. I've dropped the idea and will use the money for a DSLR.
