So I will be leaving CA and moving to Portland. Can you guys let me know where some dive sites are? Any info you can give me regarding diving would be great.

The good news is you'll love Portland. If you'll excuse my cynicism, the bad news is that dive sites on the coast are noted for big surge, low vis and of course cold water. There is always Clear Lake, fresh water, kinda-sorta interesting the first time but there isn't a lot to see. I end up driving to Hood Canal (3+ hours each way for me). There I'd describe the diving as first rate with (usually) decent vis and lots of big and small critters.
Yup, head north....Seattle, Victoria and Nanaimo.
