Hello everyone, I am going and dive in the deep two days from now and I am flabagastered. Can you tell me what to expect? What I need top know? Trust me, I have'nt a clue.....and feel free to talk to me. Im a young lady.

Greetings and welcome to ScubaBoard.

Are you taking a class and going out for your OW dives? If so, I would suggest talking to your instructor. If not, where are you going and why would you go out without any training?

Hi Tricia,
A little more info would be useful. Where are you going? What experience do you have?

Welcome aboard...enjoy your time here on ScubaBoard! Could you give us a little more information on your issue?

Well it will be the experience of your life. It is the only way to feel weightlessness on this planet. If your dives are in the 30' to 40' ft range, and you are reef diving you will experience amazing colors. Be sue to have an experienced dive buddy. A lot of people feel that it would be clostifobic; but it really isn't, it is like another atmosphere if you are in clear water. The problem would be if you cave dive or wreck dive in a confined area, but I doubt that you will be doing that. I am diving in the Florida Keys in June 5 - June 10th.

That first breath of air when you are underwater is the oddest feeling.

You will feel like you are on some foreign world, and for the most part, you are.

You will see and experience some amazing sights.

Welcome to the rest of the world.

Practice mask clearing and mask clearing. Knowing how to remove legs cramps too and mask clearing. Gently equalize your ears before and during descent and during the course of the dive. Be aware of how much air both you and your buddy have.
