Well, I'm a little worry wart and I am going to do my OW dives next week. This may sound a bit ridiculous, but in the PADI dive material it mentions that there can be problems with tooth fillings while diving (descending and a reverse block while ascending). What are the chances of this occurring? and they common? I am 16 and don't have any "old" fillings (2 to be exact, but no more than a year or 2). Well, hopefully someone will sooth my nerves.

Provided that they have not proven problematic in anyway, 2 fillings that are no more than a year or two old are very unlikely to cause you any problems as a result of the ambient pressure changes inherent in scuba.

Enjoy your OW dives.
