Hey All,

I just booked a trip via PADI travel. I'll be staying 17 days in Sharm El Sheikh with roughly 15 diving days. I paid for 32 dives, but I'm going to try and do 3 dives a day.

I will be staying at the Hyatt in a Sea Front Room (not sure how that works) and diving with Red Sea Waterworld. Does anyone have any experience with the hotel or the dive shop? Any tips or advice? Any dire warnings?

Thank you!

No, but aren't these the sort of questions to ask *before* booking?

Normally but my trip is last minute and PADI Travel gives you 24 hrs to cancel. Plus I'd like to know tips once I get there. I am surprised that the Hyatt is mentioned twice on this forum when it has a 5 star diving operation.

Red Sea Waterworld is a great company to dive with, we worked for them 6 years ago and had a blast! Their boats are clean and spacious, they always go to the best spots. The premises are nice as well, huge equipment rooms and bar and restaurant on site.

As for the hotel, they're all pretty much the same... 3-4 stars quality, it's more than enough since you'll be diving everyday... The food situation is not the greatest in Sharm so do some research before heading out...

Have a great time!
