Two couples of friends are going to Hurghada at the end of June.

One is an Instructor, one is finishing her Rescue diver, and the two others are OWD, all of them with PADI.

They have been various times in Sharm el Sheikh, but the situation in Israel made them choose something souther, I wouldn't choose anywhere in Egypt now, but that's not the point.

They are staying at the Hilton and they don't want a live aboard, any advice?

Thanking you all in advance.

I can recommend both Emperor Divers ( http://www.emperordivers.com/ ) and Easy Divers ( http://www.easydivers-redsea.com ) in Hurghada. Emperor are based at the Hilton Resort (not sure which of the 2 Hiltons you're refering to in your post), Easy Divers are based at the 3 Corners Village hotel but their boats generally leave from the Sinbad Hotels marina.

Both companies should provide minibus services from your hotel.

Easy Divers were a bit cheaper for extras (Abu Nuhas wreck trip definitely worth doing) and lunch was included in the diving cost. Emperor's Nitrox was a lot cheaper. The only other diference was that Emperor use Ali tanks and Easy Steel. Both companies are founder members of HEPCA and run a strict no touching the wildlife policy.

Have a wonderful time in Hurghada, I love it and generally try to visit once a year.

Thanks for the info, I'll pass it along.

Unfortunately I won't be in the party;-0
