Hi everyone!
We just got back from our dive honeymoon tanned and in one piece This was our first time diving in the Red Sea and I have to say it was amazing!
We stayed at Arabia Beach Hotel and dived with our hotel's dive center--Blue Water Dive Center. I highly recommend that dive center. People were very friendly and our dive guides were all experienced dive instructors.
The underwaterworld? SUPERB! Don't think I saw so many variety of soft and hard corals all at once. Visibility was also amazing; about 20-25 M. We saw a white-tip reef shark, lots of blue spotted rays, about 4 species of blow fish, stone fish and millions more. Plus, not to forget my favorite, dolphins and a thorny seahorse!! Some other divers saw a whale shark which I was sooo disappointed to have missed. All in all, it was really great.
I do have a word of advise for those who might be heading that direction: make sure you eat only cooked food and do not clean your teeth or drink water with water from the faucet! I was very ill on our last day. Make sure you drink lots of liquid cause it's so easy to get dehydrated there.
That's all in a nutshell! Happy diving!!
