Im from the bay area and do all of my spearfishing on the north coast and was wondering what beach areas are good for hunting in the Monterey area. If anyone could point me in the right direction I'd much appreciate it.

Del Monte Beach boring but halibut are in the sandy areas.

Stillwater Cove good size Rockfish.

Carmel River SB (near the mouth of river) some Rockfish, occasional Ling Cod and Cabezon.

Garrapata SP good size Rockfish, Ling Cod, Cabezon.
