Has anyone done the shore dive at Hull Bay in St. Thomas. I see it listed along with Coki Beach. We've done Coki several times and are looking for other places to dive on St. Thomas or St. John. We will have a car and have used the ferry to St. John.

I think you can dive at Haulover Bay on St. John' s East End. We never have though and I've read a Jeep might be needed.

A decade ago we did a boat dive with an operator at Sapphire Beach resort. At the time, they kept their boat nearby in the marina but their beach toys shack on the property rented scuba gear. I asked about it while checking in and they said some guests dove a shallow reef just off the beach. The dive op since closed so IDK if it's still an option with someone else. We just parked in the lot, walked thru the lobby and it was off to the right maybe 50'? so maybe worth a drive-by.

If you look at this aerial you can see a few places that might be possibilities - I suspect it would be a pretty shallow dive though. http://www.antillesresorts.com/photos-sb/14-sapphire-beach-aerial-1.jpg I believe it's the bay to the right of the pool.

Call St. Thomas Dive Club at Bolongo Bay also. They do an escorted shore dive there - depending on what review you read it's either 20' or 40' deep. Maybe they'll just rent you tanks and point you toward it.

Red Hook Dive Center has daily/weekly rentals if you need tanks. They mention that their boat rates include it so I assume it's for off-site rentals. http://redhookdivecenter.com/?q=rentals

We plan on diving with St. Thomas Dive Club again this trip. We've had good times with them twice before.

The Shore dive is right off the dock, short surface swim out to the left. We plan on doing that one this time along with Coki Beach and maybe Hull

Any Good Dive Ops on St John?
