Most of the time I’m here on SB i see that my connection is secure via an HTTPS connection via SSL; but ever now and then (5%~ish) I find myself on a mon secure connection and that I’m accessing SB via simple HTTP.
Anyone experienced that? Or know why that is happening if I’m not simply losing my marbles?
(It’s not like a movie grade hacker is trying to steal my super secret discussion on here, that they probably can see as a guest; but my inner techy and inner tin foil hat dude are curious)
Thanks

I’ll try and find examples, thanks chairman

Ok maybe it’s a browser issue..
Example: rules for the pub
The link is an https link, but firefox shows me this
I can also dig a bit into it, I have slight background in cybersecurity related stuff

We rechecked the server and non-secure access is disallowed. Perhaps your browser is hinky? First rule: toss your cookies. Second? Try a different browser.

That's likely your connection. The first thing that the webservice checks, is if you're on a secure connection. If not, a redirect is sent to connect with https://

It#s indeed a browser issue; sorry for the panic.. will close the thread as answered.
Thnaks for the lightning quick replies

You're connecting through a VPN. Who knows what's in between?
