MSilvia:
Maybe so, but it shows at least three blatant errors in my neighborhood, including two through roads that are actually dead ends and an unnamed cross road that doesn't exist.

It would have been very handy 20 years ago though.

Don't forget it's a beta version. For instance, they mentioned not having a saved location in the help, and plan on furnishing it soon.

I remember when MapQuest and MapBlast were new, and I definitely found some errors! We used MapQuest, I believe, to go the outlet malls on 400 (a fairly major highway) norht of Atlanta when we moved to the area in 2000. It took us about 30 miles past and we ended up facing a farm at the end of a road intersecting (I am not making this up!) Seed Tick Road!

Give 'em a few months of feedback from customers and most errors will be corrected.

I found an error in my hometown, Gainesvile, Fl concerning a road that has a barrier to prevent people sneaking through a neighborhood. It is shown as a through road on Google, MapBlast, and Mapquest. I wonder how they would show that, anyway? Just a small break in the road, or what? They have a bunch in Gainesville, so there should be some way to show it.

They show a barrier as a small break on a road. There are a couple in New Orleans.

Great maps! I can't wait to use them next time I Geocache!
