A few years ago I dived the newly sunken wreck HTMS Phra Thong and I told myself that I want dive it again. Unfortunately it went upside down during the first rainy season. Recently I went to Thailand again and saw a sign of the wreck on the street. What is the status of this divesite now?

I think at the moment nobody does this trip.

The wreck was nice after it had just sunk, but an upheavel of sand has more or less blocked it.

I dove the Phra Thong in early March. Tons of schooling fish & pelagics over the wreck with lots of lion fish towards the stern entry point. It is currently easily accessible despite being upside down. I enjoyed the dive despite the bad vis we experienced.

    Excellent information.

Did you go there by yourself or organised?

So, it is really upside down but is it also broken and falling apart?

Its upside down but I would not say broken and falling apart. Was fairly intact with easy access for penetration through a long portion of a very big ship.
