HP100 rental in Socal?

Looking to rent some HP100's or bigger while in San Diego in september. What dive shops offer steel tank rentals?

Oh ouch.. uh... good luck. I'd say just start calling SD dive shops. I dunno about HP tanks but someone might have LP95s or something.

Yeah good luck with the HP100's. But I know Pacific Wilderness's stores rent LP95's. They are massive though! The weight and buoyancy characteristics very much like a Steel 120!

What kind of tanks do out-of-towners usually use to dive the Yukon? Surely not AL80s?

The only one that I know of in so cal that rents HP tanks is xtreme scuba in ventura... they have all the good stuff for rent. too bad they are so far away for your trip

Hollywoodivers has a few rental HP100s, but they're a little far from SD as well.

SDUA might big tanks, or doubles. Worth calling to see.

I don't think SDUA rents anything other than AL80s... at least officially... if you go in the shop then uh.. it might be different story.

SDUA has often had a few steels around for rent in the past (95s).
