We had about 35-40 feet vis by Hole in the Wall at Lobos today. It wasn't as good shallower.

June 25 (saturday) - Hopkins vis was about 25-30 ft

June 26 (Sunday) - Breakwater, vis was 3-5 ft

Thanks for all the vis reports. Motivated me enough to dive Butterfly House today and it was fantabulous! vis was no less than 60' after kicking out a bit. It was labor intensive going out and coming back because of the kelp in the shallows (did not feel cold even in 49ºF from the workout), but well worth it at the dive site, calm and clear. Back again to that spot in November on a calm day and less kelp.

Thanks for the tip & info! This was the perfect report considering we planned to dive Butterfly house just a few days later. Yesterday the surge was very calm and even at low tide we managed to snake through little channels under the kelp & out of the cove to enjoy some the 60ft vis you mentioned!

It was our first time at Butterfly House and were thrilled with the great vis, kelp forests teaming with schools of Blue Rock fish & very nice rock structure - Wonderful dive!
