Hello SoCal divers!

My buddy and I are doing a truth aquatics liveaboard this weekend. We typically dive Monterey but thought doing some Channel Islands diving would be a nice change and a mini vacation. So... what are the conditions like right now down there??? I'm just curious if vis is any better down there right now than the 10' vis in Monterey at the moment, lol. :D

I just posted 2 videos, diving at San Clemente and Catalina, where you can see the vis this past weekend. I would say at San Clemente at the 4 different sites we had vis from 40-60'. At Catalina we had a bit less, but that was last weekend. It might be alot better depending what site you do and which island. Last August, at one site on Catalina, we easily had 80-100' vis! It really is variable day to day... but you should probably expect 40' minimum at every site.

have fun!!!
