Just checking in...

I'm 30ish, and now find myself back in the town where I went to college (College Station). I don't recommend going back. Everyone is too young and they wear less clothing than I remember. Not that I mind the clothes part, but my wife minds me not minding. Did I get old?

I am brand new to diving. I completed my OW cert. class in Nov. and was instantly hooked. This is also the first ('chat'?) board I have ever subscribed to. I'm also hooked. There is a wealth of information out here and I like rerading the (sometimes heated) discussions.

Sooner or later I'll come up with a new question, but so far I've found it all covered.

To the powers that be: Thanks for setting this board up.

Well Pardner, you have come to the right place. Being new myself, I have to agree with you. After taking a tour of Scubaboard, I've found it to be user FRIENDLY and very informative. It is refreshing to get on a board and have at your finger tips divers who try and share their wealth of diving knowledge with you.

I recently became a member as well and have found a wealth of knowledge here. Folks are more than willing to share opinions and provide information. I've found that using PM (Personal Messaging) is a great way to get specific answers from a member to questions you feel they can anwer for you.

Have fun!
