I was certified in Hawaii around '85, gave away all of the gear when I moved to the mountains of Utah in the late 80's. Thought I'd never go down again. Well, here we are in a new century, and I'm trying to get wet again. Technology changed a lot so I'm am scrambling with gathering up gear and getting with the local dive club for a group dive. I have seen thousands of web pages with tons of info that is really helpful.

I plan to drift dive the rivers of Texas with a metal detector just "Lookin4it" you know, the stuff a tuber may lose, it just sounds fun. I'm trying to get my ducks lined up before I get into a river.

Anyway, I have a request for some more info: Has anyone seen or are you the author of a pre-dive check list written in reverse order? I ran across a great one somewhere but can't find the site again. The diver actually started his checklist with entering the water and worked his way back to gathering gear. Any info would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance, and lookin4ward to exploring and sharing.

Welcome to the board!

There have been many threads about check lists over the years here on ScubaBoard. You can search for them buy clicking the "search" function on the tool bar above. Trust me, you'll find gobs of good data!

Enjoy.
