Located on Penobscot Bay in mid-coast Maine. You are right, there are lots of great sites from Nubble all the way downeast to Lubec.

I’ll be in Rockland Maine in July with my brother. We were looking to do some diving in the area when we arrive. Are there any shore dive sites in that area?
 
Where is Rockland
 
There are a couple places I've heard of in NH that you might be close enough to. And rockport area isn't much further than NH.
