And a great-big ol' country "Howdy" back atcha! (Okay, so maybe working at the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo has me speaking with a more of a twang these days...)

I've lurked without joining for a few months, and finally yielded to the overwhelming pressure and guilt applied by my best friends. Hey, isn't that what they're for?

I'm a PADI Rescue Diver, approximately 65 dives in both fresh and salt water. I've done boat dives off the Florida Keys, but most of my experience is in Lake Travis, off the coast from Austin, TX.

Manatees. They know what you're thinking. They know where you sleep.

Welcome!! Any question you have, you can probably find a post about it in the archives, or just ask away and someone will steer you to an answer.

Guilt is my favorite weapon.

The Great Manatee knows all and sees all. Do not anger him!
