We really don't say howdy in Texas. Well, sometimes.
Just wanted to say hi to everyone here. I stumble onto this site on accident while searching for a new BC. I'm going on an expedition in the Galapagos Islands soon. I can't wait!!! Anyone been there?

Some of us Houstonians actually say howdy, well sometimes. Welcome and it's good to see yet another Texan/Houstonian on the board! I haven't been to Galapagos Isles but if I win the lottery it will be on the list (long list).

Have you decided on a BC? There are many posts on BC's in the equipment section. Just do a search for the one you interested in and it will probably be there.

So many of the members "stumbled" across the board while searching for one thing or another. I'm sure I didn't go searching for "a wonderful place to chat with friends and learn lots and lots".... but that's what I've found.

Howdy! and welcome. Sooner or later someone will answer your inquiry on the Galapagos Islands... even is someone doesn't, a quick use of the search facility (lcoated at the top of the screen) reveals 10 threads (including this one) where the Islands are mentioned.
