I believe we dove with Lahina Divers. They were great! I have heard some horror stories about resort dives. But these guys were wonderful and made it an awsome experience. I hope to return to Hawaii and scuba before too long and I will definately be looking up the same dive op for any future dives at Maui.

My husband and I are recently o/w certified and are very excited. Our first dive was a resort dive in Maui, Hawaii. We were hooked instantly. Glad to now be certified and looking forward to our first real dive destination - Grand Cayman. We are also looking to purchase gear, so any recommendations for good quality gear for newbies would be greatly appreciated. We plan to dive mostly warm water destinations.

Welcome to SB! I came here to look for help with my scuba diving dream and the response has been fantastic. So, I know you will enjoy being a member here.
