Well, I just spent a year learning to dive on the west coast (Vancouver area). Now that I've moved a little inland I thought I'd start posting to this board instead of just scouring it for local diving tips.

Hopefully when the weather gets a little nicer I'll be able to find some great freshwater dives in the area but in the meantime I'll have to settle with just talking about it. Not that I'm opposed to diving in the cold, but I think it would be hard to find someone willing to go with me :)

If there are any divers in the Ottawa area, I'd love some advice on sites and shops.

Cheers,

Doug

Hey I lived as a child in Vancouver and as an adult in Ontario...anyways welcome to Scubaboard!

You are close to Kingston and Brockville...both are great dive destinations.

Cheers.
