Just got done with our weather spotting for the national weather service. Thankfully, everything heres ok, but it was pretty rough in areas around us here. Yall be careful out there!

A lot of that bad weather hit just north of Gilboa quarry (Ohio, USA) and headed north east. Many tornados, several dead and many injured. News is still breaking in with updates of the destruction. A truck and trailer on I75 was tossed over several lanes and is on its side. They are asking everone to stay out of the area. Destruction all the way up to Lake Erie. It was a bad day for many in Ohio. I have family in that area, and thankfully they are ok. Still trying to find out about friends. Phone and electric is out. Say a prayer if you will for a safe outcome.

Hope to be there next week, just hope there is a quarry that is divable. Tornados hit south and north of Gilboa. Possible F4 tornado just north. The whole area is very hard hit. Still trying to get a hold of friends who were in the path.

Looking forward to meeting those from the board. Lets hope for better weather next weekend.

I think you guys are getting what we've had the last weeks or so. We didn't have any tonados, though just lots of wind and rain.

I'll keep the victims of the storms in my prayers...

Sat watching tv while the storm was going on to stay posted on the warnings. Rained like the dickens here, blew so hard most of the leaves came off the trees in our woods. Heard that tornadoes struck Van Wert and Putnam counties so I was really wondering if anyone knew if Gilboa had sustained damage too. Didn't sound too good for the people in the area, hopefully daylight has brought about the discovery of any who might still have been missing.

Drove down our lane after the storm passed last night to check for downed trees, luckily just one big branch came down on the driveway. The irrigation ditch that runs through our property was completely full of water, 6 more inches and it would have been over the top of the driveway. That ditch is 25 feet wide and about 8 feet deep, heck we could have gone diving! Getting shot through the 4 foot diameter pipe under the driveway might have been an interesting trip as long as there were no trees or branches going through at the same time:bonk:

..............Doing damage assesment, I think we got off pretty good around here. Looks like TN got it hard though. So far about 33 dead and over 100 still missing all over the state..............
Lets make sure to keep everyone in our thoughts and prayers.
