Hello to all.... I am new to this site so have patience with me please...
I am actually wondering how anyone can get such beautiful close up pics like the ones I am seeing here? I have just started trying the underwater photography thing and really do need to take an underwater photo course... But... what sort of camera and lens gives you those images?

First, Welcome to the board.

There's is a variety of formats, cameras and lenses being used by the photographers here. Some of us have housed digital cameras and some have housed SLR film cameras.

Most of the photos will have the information for camera/lens posted with it.
