to many processes in making coffee which leaves too many failure areas.
Chew the beans up and drink hot water if you want to be a purist.
It is ironic. We used to buy chocolate covered coffee beans and eat them at work, but most of the guys would complain if they got coffee grinds in their cup.

mmm chocolate covered expresso beans. My dad would buy those for his employees so they would work faster and harder
