All very realistic except for one small detail. When the Boy Wonder climbs out of the cockpit to hand off the shark repellent, who is piloting the Batcopter? That is probably the only thing that cost them the Academy Award for best action film that year.

ah, hello?

Mr. Automatic "I flew in WW-I" Pilot

Meng_Tze:
You never heard of the attack manatees in blue springs state park? Apparently they attack people swimming there. They crush you against the side of the run, or between two adults and then continue to gobble you up. There are even warning signs: Beware the attack Manatee.

Many swimmers disappeared in the 70's when this was not known, then one manatee dies and they did an autopsy. What was found was startling: car license plates, coconuts, garbage bags and a human skull. After study, they found out that manatees change behavior after 7 years and become more aggressive, with the big bulls being the most dangerous. There are even stories of manatees hunting down snorkelers in packs, but I think that this is too far fetched.

Im sorry maybe I should have been more careful about what I wrote. When I said Mantas I meant Manta Rays not Manatees.

Here is a shot of a Manatee attack...bit his head clear off...then wanted to be scratched...

When Manatees Attack...Film at 11!

Just kidding of course...no Manatees where harmed in the making of this shot...now the diver on the other hand...

Now if I was attacked by a Whale Shark, would I have to use both the Shark and the Whale Repellant? :D

That is so phoney! Everyone knows there is no such thing as "Whale Repellent"!!!!

Maybe it's Whale "Rappellent", all the gear you'd need to Rappel down the side of a whale in a compact form to fit on your belt? That certainly seems like something Batman might need to do from time to time.

(For non-US audiances, it'd be Whale Abseillent, and much less funny)

I can't help but think you are taking the Batman Docudrama video too lightly. For God sake, the man almost lost his life...if not his tights....and that's not to mention the loss of a rare SEGWS (Spontaneous Exploding Great White Shark). You don't see those every day!!! That may have been the last one! Have some compassion, man!!

;)

Ya know I remember seeing this in the theater way back when. Not sure that I wanted to admit that but there ya go.

I loved that movie. The villians had a submarine shaped like a penguin. I think it was much better than the remakes, except for catwoman. lol
