I have taken the plunge and have bought an Patima Housing for a Canon G9. I bought dual Inon Z240. I have a master slave cable going between the two strobes and one cable from the master strobe to the housing. I have ULCS arm segments with some foam with a dual handle base. Does anybody have some suggestions on how to string the optical cables so they do not get in the way?

You might try velcro wire ties, available at hardware or electronics stores. They hold as tight or loose as you want. Allow extra lengths of fiber around the joints in the area around the flash heads. Is it possible to place one end of each cable near your camera's flash? It seems you will need twice the cable run for the slaved strobe.

Velcro wire ties is a great idea. I had forgotten about them. The slave cable is twice as long, so the lenght is not a problem. I cannot attach both cables to the housing. The flash is blocked in the Patima housing but has a port for the optical cable. Thanks for the idea.
