Ok the bad buddy is here to take my lump's. As far as time it was more like 10 to 15min. and that was because the entrance was blocked by 2 cavern classes going on at the same time. and I couldn't get back to her.
As far as skill I am a cavern diver and a public safety dive. I think the biggest problem is my mind set. In the 14 yrs I've been diving 10 of them has been diving solo. So diving with a bubby is a new exp. for me as well.
As far as her skill she is a natural. She is absolutly beautiful in the water. Trim , Sac its all great. Do I hate myself for this happening? YES I do. Have I tried to fix it? Yes I have.

Find buddies that won't mind a new diver tagging along ... I never mind diving with any new are inexperienced divers. And most of the divers I dive with are very experienced are instructor's wouldn't either. But thats if they are out pleasure diving not around a class setting.
Remember this you only make one huge mistake in diving when your stupid ... and can't handle something like going in caves are wrecks, diving to deep if your not trained for it. Congrats on knowing to keep out of overhead environments. And know you need a little tweaking.

Well, hats off to you for speaking up in here. The SB'ers are very knowledgeable and sometimes ruthless in their passion for safe diving. I have just read the entire thread and well, very big mistakes were made and I agree with most posts on here. Hopefully you and your wife can be safe/proper buddies.....or agree to dive separately with others who are. It would be a terrible thing for anybody to lose out on diving opportunities because of this. Safe diving to everybody and peace out.
