How to get a faster shutter in AV with canon g15/g16

My strobes did not come with a diffuser and I use the diffuser intended to work with External Auto and sTTL. I suggest strongly to purchase the EA compatible diffuser and it works beautiful.

Thanks for the help. Pictures came out very nice. Most pictures did not have any motion blur that I was trying to compensate for. Plus, the advice to use the auto/manual made it so much easier like you said.
