I must say the "Good Old Days" sure had it made. Any chance that there is an audio version available on cd?

I think my Fiancee has read that book.
When she has a day off work I arrive home to her opening the door to me, wearing a pretty dress and her hair all done up nice. The house is clean, the dishes I was supposed to do have been done and put away, a meal is cooking away in the oven and a nice cold Monteiths Original Ale is handed to me as she takes my boots off and gives me a foot rub and asks about my day.
I tell you I really appreciate it and count myself lucky to have found such a special woman.

However $100 says it all changes once the ring is on her finger…

I don't think I would have made it in the 1950's. I can't even imagine that whole dress, make-up, hair-do thing. I'm with you on this one Down4Fun. I think I do just fine in my blue jeans, tank top and hat. My opinion, if your hungry in my place, you better make something or your gonna starve, of course, I wont ask you to carry my dive gear either.

Besides if you really want to make your man smile forget the dress and just wear the heels and a ribbon

I couldn't agree with you more.

Respectfully,

Boy oh boy - this sure took me back to another time - another life. Take it from one who had taken this advice seriously and tried to be a real Cleaver family mom and "help-mate": It backfired. The more I tried and catered to His Excellence - the more was expected. What is so weird now, years later: I never thought a Scuba-board, of all things, was going to have me revisit the past. June Cleaver - I wonder what you're doin' now! I hope you're diving and living in another perfect world!
