How to attach Aeris wrist computer to retractor

I am thinking off attaching a backup Aeris Atmos 2 wrist computer to my BC using a retractor. I have a retractor already on the BC (a Cetacea with a female end that plugs into a male plug with an elastice lanyard).

I am wondering if I can use my existing retractor or do I need a different type and how does one clip the wrist computer to the retractor?

You generally wear a wrist computer on your, uh, wrist. To use it on your retractor you're going to need to somehow attach a male clip to the unit. I'd remove the straps and rig it to the strap pins if I were doing it ... but then I wear mine on my wrist.

Aeris makes a BC retractor for the wrist computer so there seems to be a simple way to do it. I am just not certain how they connect the computer.

The Aeris Retractor for Wrist Mounted Computers simply takes the place of the wrist strap. You pop the 2 pins out, then the retractor fits right on the back of the unit, and you pop in the 2 pins that come with it. Now you can hook it on one of the BC D rings with the included plastic snap - and viola - no more computer on your wrist.

I much prefer this setup as if it is on my wrist it seems to always be in my way - from suiting up - to reaching into holes, or getting caught on things...

Nothing gets destroyed in the transition, and you can switch back and forth if you so desire.
