I am 63, all the way to rescue diver, nitrox to come. My wife just certified open water diver and she is 66!! Started out afraid to go under and now you cant keep her up. She has been to 41 feet and I just went to 111 foot. Great. We do everything together anyway so add this to it. You can watch or do. We are doers. ted

You have been certified four years and have posted almost 15,000 times??? That is incredible...
What's incredible is that when she posts something, it's almost always helpful and informative.

Never heard about cyberdivers.:rofl3:

Sorry TSandM,just to good to let go.:D

... so when did averaging 200+ dives per year become cyberdiving?

No, what is really incredible is that she finds time to log 800 dives and post 15,000 times in four years on SB despite being an ER doctor.

I got certified this past August 14th,2009 just about one month after celebrating my 51st birthday on July 15th, 2009.

I'm 52 and my is 49, we both got certified 5 years ago. I just completed Rescue Diver and plan on becoming an instructor. Learning new things and trying new challenges is what life is all about. You're only as old/young as you feel.

HA! I am about to turn 70, yes, 70 years old. To old ? Naw! I fell great and don't plan on quiting anytime soon. I can still make 3 dives in a day if conditions permit. But, typically do 2 dive a trips a month 2 dives each. You would think I'd get tired of it huh? I mean I've been at it since I was 15 yrs old. But it thrills me now just as much as the first time I put a tank. So, 40 yrs to old? Don't I wish! That would at least give me 30 more years of diving. Tell you Mom to go for it! It's great! Come on in, the waters fine.

To answer your question, you are too old when you stop breathing.
