Actually vintage may not be the correct term. Vintage is generally use in defining a wine of a certain years grape crop. Vintage must be qualified by a year. We can say a regulator is vintage 1957.
We have the classic car era which is generally the 1920's and 1930's, and we have the muscle car era which is about 1963 to 1969. There is the double hose era which would be 1943 to 1973 if you use the end of U S Divers production of doublehose regulators here in the states or it could extend to the end of the Nemrod doublehose in the early 1990's. But who cares.
