I'll be diving steel 108's for the first time soon. Just wondering about how much weight I should have for the 108's?
I dive a BP/W and with Al80's and full 2 piece 3mm wetsuit I need about 10lbs. With a half suit, Al80 I dive about 5lbs.

What weight do you recommend I try with steel 108?????

There are several Al 80s and it matters which you are using.

From the charts referenced above, find the difference between the empty buoyancy of each tank. Since the steel tank is less buoyant (I'm guessing) you will REMOVE weight equal to the difference.

You will note that you can get a different answer depending on which Al 80 you choose.
